Just to keep you updated on what’s coming…
1- New pictures should be coming in (old and new, everything and nothing) as soon as
2- The power supply on my 6 month old iMac G5 died last week… waiting for the new one to be able to keep my stuff up to date…
3- Working on a few projects, will keep you updated.

Wow!
Just after seeing the new products announced by Steve Jobs’ Macworld keynote address (iMac Core Duo, MacBook Pro and all the updated software), I just saw that Google Earth was officially available on the Mac.
This’ll be pretty good.
Now I’m just mad I bought my iMac G5 6 months ago…

You’ll notice that my first name or last name aren’t mentioned anywhere on my site… My daughter’s and girlfriend’s first names are present in a few pages.
If you search on Google with my full name without quotes, this site comes up third (the 1st and 2nd results being my profile on my employer’s website).
If you search for my daughter’s full name, again without quotes, this site comes up 1st! Which I find pretty cool if you take into account the fact that our last name is NEVER present on this site.
If you search for my girlfriend’s first name with my last name, still without quotes, this site comes up 3rd because of a post concerning her conventum (high-school reunion).
I understand how this all works but at the same time, I’m amazed by the speed and efficiency of their whole system.

I’m thinking about adding a link in the header to download the picture that randomly shows up in its original size and quality…
Would that be interesting?
(I don’t think I’ll get any responses but what the hey!)

I am currently working on a simple photoblogging tool (PHP/MySQL) because all the tools I’ve tried were either too complicated, simply didn’t work or didn’t contain the simple features I wanted.
I’m trying to build this up as totally reusable tool using PEAR classes which could be eventually plugged in to WordPress through a plug-in but I’m not there yet.
I’ll keep you updated.
